University of Perpetual Help System Dalta

Founded on February 5, 1975, by Dr./BGen. Antonio Laperal Tamayo and Dr. Daisy Moran Tamayo, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) is
rooted in a vision for national development. Beginning with a four-story building in Las Piñas City, UPHSD initially offered the Bachelor of Science in Nursing
and the Secondary Course, catering to 185 students. The university expanded with branches in Molino and Calamba in 1995 and 1996.
Achieving university status in 1997, UPHSD continued its growth in curricular programs, faculty, research, community service, infrastructure, and professional development.
In 2017, the Las Piñas Campus received Autonomous Status from CHED, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to educational excellence.
Today, UPHSD maintains its dedication to quality education, fostering a network of national and international partnerships in higher education and business. Upholding the
philosophy that national development relies on education quality, UPHSD prioritizes teaching, community service, and research with "Character Building is Nation Building" as
its guiding principle.
